Autumn is often called a golden season of the year. It is the time when nature is clothed in special colors, when the harvest is ripe and gathered. Since winter is coming soon to change the sun and warmth with cold, frost and snow. There is a time for harvesting in the spiritual wordl as well. Jesus Christ told to his desciples: "... Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields: for they are white ready to harvest! ... The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into His harvest" (John 4:35, Mtth.9:37-38). The students of the Seminary of Practical Theology were not aside the spiritual harvest. They spent their autumn practice in thee regions of Ukraine: Poltava, Sumy and Khmelnytsk.
During the practice students were involved in church ministries, various evangelism events, worked with children, youth, attended hospitals and orphanages. They also did not miss physical work they did as for the Lord. At the end of their practical ministry on the missionary fields students came back to their studies to gain new knowledge they are going to use very soon with next possibility to minister others. Here is a short photoreport from the autumn practice for you:
