Another academic year is over ....

Everything has its own beginning and the end. This is true even about the educational process. It seems that it was just autumn when the studying year began, and now it is at its end.

FromApril 30thtoMay 4ththerewasasessionforourparttimestudentswithtwoteachersEdmundSchlak (subject “CriticalThinking”) and Valeria Chornobai (subject “Sociology and social work”). Part-time students received new baggage of knowledge and went back home to return again for the next session in September.

From May 7th to May 11th a Family Counseling school took place at the Seminary,  where students were suggested to have three subjects: “Christian family and modern challenges” (Mykola Fasolko, academic dean of the SPTh), “10 commandments of a happy marriage” (Mykola Savchuk, pastor from Vyshneve) and “Family conflictology” (Rostyslav Murakh, regional bishop from Khmelnytsk region).

And for the full-time students a studying year finished with the graduation. Third year students received their Bachelor diplomas in the sphere of “Theology and church ministry”.

Celebration events devoted to graduation took place on May 20th. A local “Church of faith, hope and love”, parents, relatives, students’ friends and honored guests – bishop of the Slavic Pentecostal churches from the eastern coast of the USA Victor Limonchenko, Evangel Theological Seminary Vasyl Voitovich and the founder of the “THK-Stiftelsen” mission Beint Hansen joined the celebration.

The celebration continued at the graduation banquet, and then younger students made a little concert for the graduates in an informal atmosphere.

Now students have their holidays and the graduates have a responsible time in front of them to fulfill their calling and work in the Lord’s field. Seminary wishes our graduates God’s guidance and provision, anointment of the Holy Spirit for the ministry.

And for the ones who have a desire to study at the SPTh we suggest to join the number of our students for the next programs:
