Life is flourishing at SPTh

After temporary summer silence Seminary again turned to the usual tempo of life. Everything started with the School of Family Counseling from August 25th to August 28th.

It was first lecture week of the second school. Students had a chance to have two subjects: «Basics of counseling» with Volodymyr Brychka and «Family ethics» with Pavlo Gryschenko. It was a great opportunity not only to enrich the knowledge but also to have fellowship in friendly atmosphere and to walk sightseeing around Korosten.

Next lecture session will be from October 26th to October 30th. Students will have a great possibility to listen to not less interesting subjects: «Children upbringing» (Viktor Boryshkevych), «Biblical basics of family» (Ruslan Yuzyuk), «Conflictology» (Rostyslav Murakh) and «10 commandments of a happy marriage» (Mykola Savchuk). There is still a chance to join the group if anyone is interested in such a program.
On September 4th Seminary had entrance exams after which 13 new students started full-time program «Bachelor of Theology and Church Ministry». On September 6th the local church of faith, hope and love blessed the students for their studies. The same day students who finished their program received their diplomas.

And on September 7th students started their studies. During first week full-time students had a chance to have fellowship with part-time students who had their lecture session from September 7th to September 11th.

First teacher this year was a guest from Zaporizhzhya city – Igor Kapustin with two subjects Hermeneutics and Soteriology.

Gradually students are getting used to the rhythm of studies, adapting to life in the team and Seminary, trying to be involved in the life of local church. And in the middle of October full-time students will have their missionary practice where they will be able to apply their knowledge they got from their lectures.
